[Review] Parrot Mini Drone Airborne Night Quadcopter Swat

Table of Contents

Parrot’s mini drones are perhaps the new generation robots reflecting uplifted innovation and boosted quality le viagra en belgique. They appear more as toys than talented flying machines but are mini in size to fit in one hand as well as more economical than the bulkier drones. Just recently released, one of these five drones is the night quadcopter swat in black controllable through Wi-Fi or Bluetooth via a free Android or iOS application.

Features

The airborne night black swat is designed to fly both in day and at night with its equipped two robust and fully controllable LEDs or headlights to light up the path in the dark. Ensuring you to retain a good level of stability and excellent speed despite being compact and ultra light, the mini flyer is capable of detecting and following your commands easily through a mobile gadget on which the relevant free application called the FreeFlight 3 is installed to do so.

Weighing not more than 1.2 pounds, this mini drone features a 3-axis gyroscope and accelerometer to take off from your palm. There is also a built-in camera located at the hull’s bottom, which is capable of capturing only 480×640 still aerial images. Suitable for both outdoors and indoors, the drone has a removable polyamide hull, responsible for defending the propellers.

Although it is small, it encompasses sensors, acrobatic capabilities, ultrasonic sensor, vertical camera measuring the ground speed, pressure sensor, and automatic landing and takeoff functions. Self-taking is also achievable in steady hovering and camera’s fuselage bottom. This indicates that the airborne model is full of sensors to ensure notable flight stability as well as using various drones’ technologies.

The 3-axis utilities measure and assess each inclination or movement, while the autopilot corrects the drone’s position. The vertical camera, at every 16 ms, compares a ground image to the former one to identify the drone’s speed and takes shots that are stored on flash memory of 1 GB. The ultrasound sensor evaluates the height of flight of up to 4m beyond which the drone is controlled through a pressure sensor.

This ‘Airborne’ model is capable of flying with high speed of up to 18 km/h, going right and left, and flipping nicely without compromising the stability and fluidity. When it lifts itself in the air, the automatic trigger of the motor and the piloting screen’s swipe can turn the flight up to 90 or 180 degrees in rear, front, and side with just a click.

The running time is almost around 9 minutes, while it can communicate within 20m. It charges quickly in less than half an hour, which is an appealing pro. The improved feature in this model is its free-fall mode entering the automatic hovering system. The set includes hull, sticker, single battery, guide, and USB cable.
